St Henry’s Marist College | 116 kW | Durban, South Africa
Durban, South Africa

2019 marks St Henry’s Marist College’s 90th year in education, and Sun Exchange’s 10th solar project. Based in Durban, South Africa, St Henry’s motto is ‘traditional values with modern relevance’. They are thrilled to be going solar through Sun Exchange’s platform, allowing them to have access to clean energy at no upfront cost and use the solar project as an educational tool for their pupils.

The nominated charity for this project is The St Henry’s Marist Trust, to raise much-needed funds for scholarships and bursaries to assist with the future development of St Henry’s Marist College. When you complete your solar cell purchase, you can optionally choose to allocate any proportion of your rental income to the Trust on an ongoing basis, allowing future generations of students to receive an education they would otherwise not afford.

This exciting opportunity allows the Sun Exchange community to solar power another project that promotes education, offsets your carbon emission and earns you a significant passive income stream paid optionally in Bitcoin or local currency, and in addition, earns you SUNEX and SolarCoin bonuses!
